This website is designed to display the works of Lee Kern but not to provide a detailed listing of available product. The works presented here, most of which have long-since moved out into the world, can nevertheless be used for reference for new creations and ideas. With this in mind, a general description of pricing is as follows:
Table lamps, of all sizes, cost between $200 and $500.
Floor lamps, some with attached tables, range in height from about 60 inches to eight feet! And prices range from $800 to $2000.
Tables come in all sizes and heights, from small plant stands to twelve-foot long burled dining tables. A typical small end table (24” x 18” x 24” high) would cost about $800. A six-foot long sofa table would cost between two and three thousand. Coffee tables of all sizes cost between $1000 and $6000.
Rocking Chairs also vary in size, uniqueness, and the types of exotic wood used, and range in price between $3000 and $7000.
Beds range between $10000 and $14000, depending on size (Queen or King) and the elaborateness and massiveness of the pieces involved. Ornate and Carved beds cost significantly more.
Art pieces, by their nature, will all vary in price. But it’s possible to give a range for the sculpted animals. A large life-size grizzly, moose, or elk, for example, would range from $10000 to $15000. A smaller life-size puma would be $3000 to $5000. One can extrapolate for sculptures that lie between these extremes.
A note on custom orders:
For custom projects Lee provides a price range before he begins work on it. When the item is done the customer has the option to buy it or not for the price that it is finished at. There is never an expectation or commitment on the part of the customer or Lee. No money is collected up front. Art does not work well that way, in Lee’s opinion. He need’s the motivation to maximize the creativity of every project and this cannot be done when the item is already partly paid for. And Lee will only sell any completed item when the customer can see it finished and is enthusiastic about buying it.
